SYNOPSIS:
Phun Anu Thanu-Two Exile Brothers" is a story about a Tibetan family in exile, India narrated by a Tibetan magician that travels from one place to another. The two hour long film is in Tibetan language with English subtitle. Every year on 10th March, Tibetans all over the world go for demonstration to condemn the colonization of Tibet by China. However, two exile brothers, Anu and Thanu do not go to the usual demonstration and stays back at home. Anu- the elder brother is a school dropout while Thanu, the younger is a two time failure in class-XI. The film carries social, health and political messages for Tibetans as well as non-Tibetan audiences. The film is screened all over Tibetan settlements around the world and finally released on CDs and DVDs.
